We serve small businesses and sole traders who could easily generate more income by some localized, highly targeted marketing of their services and products.
Doing nothing to promote your website?
Put £99 per month to work on Google on see what you could be missing.
If you run a small business or are self employed, you're not expected you to have a cutting edge website like the latest Pixar movie. People just need to be able to find it at the moment they are looking for your service, see your offering and be able to contact you.
ClickHound can help you achieve this while you get on with serving your customers and growing your business.
A Managed Google Adwords Service.
For £99/per month, we setup and manage a Google Adwords campaign to keep your business on Google's front page for the most important keywords relating to your products and services.
For maximum exposure, we'll also submit your business to Google Maps, for which there is no charge for users clicking on your listing and visiting your website.
Note: This service relates to sponsered search, not the search engine optimiaztion of a website.
Your advert will be triggered by your business name and agreed keywords, and will appear on the first page of google.co.uk and google.com every day.
If your service is localised, ads are shown only to searchers within the area you operate, making for effective, highly targeted marketing.
Yes - subject to acceptance.
Naturally, some keywords are too expensive and popular to be within the scope of this service.
For example, to be on Google's first page for "Remortgage" nationally costs £1000's per month.
If you could benefit from raising your budget and attracting more potential custumers, we will advise you so.
Conversely, if your chosen keywords only attract a smaller amount of traffic, our standard fixed price would be unfair, so we would offer the service at a lower charge.
There are many keywords for which Google will not accept sponsered bids, for example, most things that are illegal.
Normally, up to a maximum of 10.
You can have the same ad for each keyword or individual ads for each keyword. It depends on what is the most appropriate.
Best result are achieved when we write ads together with our clients.
There is an art into getting a message across within a 25 character headline, and two further lines of 35 characters. Ads must be compelling, but not over promise as this will waste money.
Google has strict rules on grammar and what you are allowed to say. For example, superlatives are not forbidden. Exceptions are granted when provable.
We may insist that all your keywords appear on your website if they don't already. Put simply, it can cost more per click if this is not the case.
Yes you can.
You can change them as often as you like (within reason), but as always - subject to acceptance.
No you don't.
You pay monthly and can cancel at any time by email or phone call.
That is our intention, but this is not always possible.
You ad will be appearing every day, but it may not be appearing 100% of the time due to the popularity of the keywords chosen and contraints of the budget to spend on clicks.
Our aim is to manage your campaign such that you get the best possible return.
If you are making money from sponsered search, but are missing clicks due to a low budget, then it can make sense to spend more to earn more.
We monitor on your behalf. If your ads appear for less than 70% of their potential for this reason, will advise you so, so you can consider rising your budget.
Yes it is, we would not like to give the impression otherwise.
You can do it yourself for nowt. Or service is for those who do not know this nor know how to go about it. It's daft not to have a Google map listing as it is free. Better still, their is no charge for clicks.
We will make an application on your behalf as a extra freebie for using our service. However, you will need to play a part to prove your business address (return a postcard from Google) and if applicable, to prove a phone number (answer a pre-booked call and enter a code).
We do not Guarantee acceptance into Google maps, nor that your business is listed on the front of Google for your keywords.
Only certain keywords coupled with a place name produce a Google map listing within search results.
Yes You Are.
You'll recieve a monthly report detailing the position, how often your ad has appeared and the number of clicks attractd by each keyword/phrase.
You'll get this 7 days before each billing date, so you can use this information to help you decide whether to continue before being charged for another month.
There isn't one. Woof
You get a small, but professionally managed Google campaign, with the knowledge that this is more cost effective than an a less experienced person doing it themselves.
We have heard of some vendors of this type of service operating what is no more than a scam Grrrr.
The con is, only keywords that attract a very small amount of clicks are accepted, and most of the monthly fee is trousered rather than being spent on clicks.
It is not in our best interests to do this. Our long term strategy to grow and retain a client base due to excellence of service.
Where all just barking mad.
Woof
Sponsored Search is paying for adverts to appear alongside natural search engine results for a given keyword or phrase.
Pay per click (sometimes called cost-per-click) in this context refers to the sponsored ads across the top and down the right hand side of Google and other search engines.
The idea is, you design an advert, and offer a bid price for an advert to appear when someone searches on keywords or phases of your choosing. You only pay when someone is engaged by your ad enough to click it and visit your website.
Google AdWords, or simply AdWords is Google's sponsored search service.
It's Highly Targeted.
With PPC marketing, you only advertise to people already looking for what you have to offer.
It's a Great Return of Investment.
When done properly, PPC advertising can produce a better return of investment than all other forms of marketing.
A small budget is no barrier..
Even if you have only spend a few pound per week, you can still get a slice of the action.
Pay as you go.
Unlike say, the Yellow Pages, you don't need to commit to 12 months in one go.
Instant online pressense.
No waiting for search engines to find your website. Reduced your prices? new product? A new ad can be live in 15 minutes.
It's not unreasonable for a competitor to click on your ad out of professional curiosity. However, they can't waste your budget by spending all day clinking it.
Google prides itself on very sophisticate systems to prevent click fraud. Most likely, you'll only be charge for a single click.
Yes you could.
However, in professional hands, Google Adwords can be optimized to produce the best possible return of investment. If you're aware of all the issues, you'll miss out of many enquires and waste time and money doing so.
To master it, you'll need to learn whole new vocabulary and keep on top of an ever evolving service. Any book on Google Awords is, to some extent, out of date before it reaches the shops.
We certainly do.
Google has it's own professional accreditation. To qualify, you must have had a Google AdWords management account for 3 months and maintain a 3 month rolling speed of at least £500, and have passed on online multiple choice questionnaire.
Not exactly like passing bar exams !
We have this qualification, but rather point to ClickHound's Top Dog Google Adwords expert having managed over £1million worth of Internet marketing spend since 2002.
